"Unfortunately our dog, Bear, was attacked... and sustained extensive, life-threatening injuries. After being at the emergency vet, we transferred Bear to PetCare Newberry... We believe the laser therapy has played a profound role in Bear’s recovery."

Class IV Laser Therapy

What can Class IV Laser Therapy do?

It reduces pain and inflammation, and accelerates healing, all in a non-invasive and non-pharmacological way. Symptoms often improve within the first few treatments. Acute conditions are treated until resolution, while chronic conditions are treated until improvement is noted, then treated with reduced frequency to maintain the effect

How are patients treated?
A Technician will administer treatments that take two to ten minutes for each affected area. The laser handpiece is moved in a scanning motion, either close to or in contact with the tissue. Patients tolerate treatments well, often relaxing as the therapy is administered.

How soon do patients improve?

Acute conditions, such as bite wounds, respond quickly with minimal treatments needed to accomplish healing. Patients can see and feel the difference in as little as one treatment. For chronic conditions, such as osteoarthritis, treatment may need to be extended over a longer time. Most chronic conditions we have treated see improvement within 3 treatments.
